We've been to the Silver Lining.Where brides-to-be try to find and fit their dream wedding gowns. This bride-to-be has been going on a diet for some time. Except for the occasional indulgence, like on her birthday, she doesn't really eat dinner. I'm in awe that she didn't even touch the muddy mud pie we ordered to share at Coffee Club the other day!
I think she looks good already, good enough. But still, she griped about the little protruding layer of flesh around her waist as she donned her gown yesterday. Still, she lamented about looking fat in the gown that I had a vote for!
I think women, particularly brides-to-be, should be more forgiving on themselves. If you already shown so much discipline in your diet, I think you should credit yourself for losing weight when you do.
Coming from me, this may sound like insult and totally lacking of empathy, but I still think that women ought to have a bit more flesh and fats on her. The curves on the body are nicer lah. I think it's beautiful to have a little tummy. Nothing such that you look down and only see your tummy instead of your feet. Personally, I feel a iron-flat tummy is just... too flat, it looks 2-Dimension. Don't you think?
But yes, I agree that flabby arms are just horrible! Imagine you have to wave goodbye to guests and this two pieces of flabs under your arms just shake lifelessly. Argh!!!
I just don't have the motivation to do anything about it now, yet. hehe...

Just like Arwen. So, while this bride-to-be went for her fitting, Froggi and me were seated outside this sofa-couch that froggi really likes and flipping through bridal magazines. I think there must have been at least 200 gowns that went past my eyes. Alas, only 2 caught my fancy. I think the tube-top kind of gowns are typical. The spaghetti strap kind is boring. The long sleeved kind is too warm for Singapore. So, I like a wide, round, off-shouldered kind.
Hehe, in another words, just like Arwen and Eowyn's dress. Yay! I always knew there's a bit of elvishness in me.
